I am also experiencing this problem with my 2 year old Shih Tzu. I have noticed that his constant bitting of his paws and rear end begin in the winter season. He actually has bit himself so much that he has a few sores on his lower back. Does anyone have any suggestions. I feel so bad for my little guy. Please advise.
